Meet Elizabeth Conway

Elizabeth Davenport Conway was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Sim and Sally Davenport.

She is the second oldest of four girls. Elizabeth lived in Louisiana, close to her mother's family, through fifth grade when her father was transferred with BellSouth to  Birmingham, Alabama. She went to public schools throughout her life, graduating from Birmingham's W.A. Berry High School (now Hoover High School).

Elizabeth moved to Kentucky with her family in 1990 when she began school at the University of Louisville.  At UofL, she was active in campus life, serving as Vice President of the Arts & Sciences Student Council, Panhellenic Rush Chairman, Inter-fraternal Liaison, and member of Chi Omega. She remains an active alumna and supporter of UofL.

After graduating from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, she began working on Paul Patton's 1995 gubernatorial campaign.

It was while working on Governor Patton's campaign that Elizabeth met Jack Conway. They became good friends. After the election, Elizabeth joined the Governor's Press Office and spent the next three years traveling the state and working on a variety of state projects.

In 1999, Elizabeth left the Governor's Office to join Brown-Forman Corporation in Louisville as a Communications Specialist. Since that time, Elizabeth has held roles of increasing responsibility in the Communications and Public Relations Department.

She currently serves Brown-Forman as the Public Relations Manager for the Jack Daniel's Family of Brands for North and South America.

Elizabeth is active in the community through her involvement with the Junior League of Louisville and numerous other organizations. She recently served as a Board Member of the Junior League of Louisville and continues to work with the Greek system at the University of Louisville.

Elizabeth and Jack were married on May 20, 2006. They celebrated the birth of their first daughter Eva Louise in July. Jack and Elizabeth reside in Louisville and enjoy spending time with their families and many nieces and nephews (Hamilton, Max, Allen, Kiah, Emma, Griffin, Colin, Mary Kate, and Kate). Elizabeth’s parents live in Owensboro, two sisters live in Oldham County and another sister lives in Sacramento, California.
